PWC DOT, in coordination with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to evaluate the potential social, economic, and environmental effects associated with proposed transportation improvements in the Route 28 corridor.  In addition to potential alternatives for extending Godwin Drive, potential improvements on existing Route 28 will also be evaluated.

At the meeting, learn about the environmental studies being conducted for the Route 28 Corridor EA. An EA is being prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The public meeting is being held to provide an opportunity for citizens and organizations to give PWC DOT comments on the proposed project.  A 10 minute presentation will begin at 7:00 PM and representatives will be available to answer questions throughout the meeting.
